She got so many expressions on her face utterly cute.When we first got there the first word she said were "he sui" which meant drink water hahaha when she saw the huge Olympic pool.

Initially she was reluctant to go of my hands and stick her head so close to my chest and when she was convince that the pool was safe and being enticed by the dolphin kiddy ride she urged baby to let her sit in one and she'll rock it. Then we tried the jacuzzi she tried it too. She wasn't afraid to try on new good! I look forward to bring her to Philippines on Chinese New Year lots of new experience.

We had lunch there in the country club and Val as usual squirmed in her baby seat. We have to pass her around the table hahaha so that everyone can had their peace eating. The weather was fine and the ambiance was just perfect ;)

First it was work every sat, then alt sat and now erratic schedule i really find it hard to like my job. I've been working non-stop without taking a break, after work i talk about work related stuffs, i flipped through books or even newspaper articles and let out a shriek delight when i saw work related stuffs. Work seems to override my life now =/
the passion for teaching is still there, but I've to admit I'm a little drained out =/
My hdb loan got approved =)) $987/mth so much for a 4rm flat bills, debts and figures.

to meet just in time before she flew to the US and passed her a handmade organizer as keepsake.

Happy New Year to everyone! hahaha I couldn't be happier, even if i hate my job and

can't wait to start on my new job, I've to plan and leave diplomatically and tactfully

; my ticket of freedom will be a well written resignation letter . I'm planning to

The whole office tower gave a sudden jolt at 6.05pm I remember vividly, I was staring at the

monitor screen when i felt the like the whole office swayed, i felt dizzy. With a heavy heart, it

occurred to be that Indonesia must be experiencing a destructive quake.

Concurrently i felt anguish and dismay, as if typhoon Katsana wasn't bad enough now, the

quake 7.6 magnitude had caused 4000 folks in Padang buried under rubble, with death toll in

the thousands.

The disasters have chosen to hit Asian's poorest nation, a lack of heavy digging equipment was

hampering the search, and the people were just using shovels and their bare hands to clear

landslides and dig out bodies.

I grieve for these victims and those whom had lost their families and their home destroyed. I

prayed that God will save those still trapped in the rubble. Appealing to all those rich ass

countries please send help of all kinds food, water, and medical. Some rural districts have not

received any outside help.

carousal. When to Metro City Square, today is the grand opening; met up with colleagues and

bosses they all wanna carry her lol.

We were in such a good mood to cam whore a bit but lil Val refused to budge take notice she

didn't smile nor did she look at the camera.

We were back at Park Royal Hotel again trying out ala carte buffet; it has an extensive range of sumptuous Chinese dish.

Shark Fins, abolone, Alaskan crab, clams, steam cod fish and list go on and on .. can order as

many times as you want! $35 per head ( you say worth it or not) with the perfect ambiance quite an awesome evening if

scrap away Val crying part she's been crying once we park her stroller near our seats till the

dinner ends so poor us we all take turns again take her out for a walk. She's such a daddy's girl

ONLY daddy carrying her around and soothe her to sleep.

The worse ordeal was not over yet! when i went into the earlier lift and got back to 5th floor the

carpark then i heard a Val cry in the lift it was so sharp and loud she was wailing but i couldn't

figure out what she wants. FYI she cried for 2 hrs so heartache sigh.

Then when we got home she was with all smiles again and started playing with us -.-" so shagged

if we can see on the foresight we rather forgo the dinner and stay home with Val -.-

The weaning stage: She shows little or no interest to breast / formula milk -.- only

to flavored puree and rice cereal. I read in books that lil tots might take up to 13 times to accept

semi- solid food. Val tried once and she absolutely love it! And now she distaste my good

wholesome nutritious rich breast milk! Now she only drinks my bm while in blur state; going off

to sleep and while in deep sleep she likes clinging on to my finger while drinking. Ps: Feeding her

was not easy she crumpled her new bib and its a whole lot messier lol

Look at her eyes, her whole iris so sparkling black and starting at the camera so intensely

I dug this out from from a thumbdrive; many peoples says i resembles my mum and now my

mini Val looks likes me hahaha i guess this is how she's gg to look like when she is 50 years old!

the response was so good that it went out of stock. It has this ball bearing at the wheels so we

could take her out to the parks for jogs and stuff.

It has been a rough week for me, I made a grievous mistake during work; it spreaded like forest's wildfire. Not

only did it landed my colleague in hot soup, my boss even had to come into the picture to resolve the whole mess

that I have created.

My boss didn't reprimand me for it, but i have been feeling super guilty! Can't seem to shake the feeling off!

Really gotta be ultra careful the next time!

I'm already making plans on what to spend for lil Val 1 more week to my payday lol

My mil birthday today! Happy birthday mummy! We went Park Royal Hotel this noon for buffet

initially wanted to take pictures of the wonderful spread we having .. then Val crying at the top of

lungs she hasnt have enough sleep so she went totally out of control lol

Then the whole 14 of us family members all take turns to carry her and cooed over her.

We got her hair shaved yesterday marking her 4th month presence on earth it is a old Chinese

belief to get rid of her "womb hair" so her new crop of hair will grow out nice. Supposedly need

to shave her eyebrow also but she so hyper active and i so scared that the hairstylist might

injured her. And the hairstylist made a remark about Val being very fierce hahaha she got it

from her daddy.

I chatted on msn with genoveva bb dom's mummy on Friday and i think she's so cute! We totally

it off haa she's got this really great personality and we talked about everything under the sun. I

like her instantly hahaha and i'm excited about the meeting i'm going to ask more mummies to

join hehehe^^

I long wanted to upload val's alot of pattern videos! But i don't know why baby's lappy youtube

maybe thats the tell tale sign of the lappy going to spoil liao. zzz true enough it breakdown on

Sat -.- and baby sending it for service 850 bucks! Better make it worth it ok!! the stupid repair

person roar!! is Sat and you so fast order the parts for what so fast order...

the graphic card and some components are spoilt i think all these gadgets stuff once they spoilt

and even if you have got it fixed it still won't be the same as before, it is just prolonging its

lifespend for how long i really don't know shurg and the new lappy only cost 2099!!

1 week had passed and i made it =)) I'm so glad i didn't have to resort to bring Val's little shirt in

my handbag, so that i can smell her any time during the day. *laughs* smelling my baby scent

its suppose to tide me over till i get home and beat the anxiety and stress of work.

My life has been so routine woke up at 6am breastfeed val, wash up and get dress for work, work

come home eat dinner and play with val, breastfeed her till she sleeps and then the whole cycle

repeat by itself again. How monotonous it might seemed hmmp =(( but never mind lahh still got

weekends can enjoy *grin

How many people out there embraces challenges/changes unassumingly?? I act like a wimp when facing with changes(-.-")it's sounds pathetic, i know but it's just part of me.

I found myself a job, I'm starting work on Mon i ought to be happy.I'm going to work

in a marketing dept for a established retail chain in one of thoes #17 Taka tower

offices I should smile from ear to ear (*^__^*).

Part of me feel that i can't bear leaving Val at home. Yess no doubt my mummy will

be caring for her but still i felt sad =((the reason behind;

shes on total breastfeed- tbf and super reliant on me on normal days she won't even

bother to suckle on her formula milk -.- and she likes to throw tantrums most of the

time i wonder if mummy will be able to handle her. i mean cause Val needs attention

all the time hmm... meanwhile i'm trying the method that khatina shared i hope it

I hope I'll be able to adjust to working 9-6pm mon-fri aww i miss all the time i

could spend with my little sweetie =( but is okay!! hahaha mummy promises to

After 6 years of LTR "love marathon"!! haa i gotta swallow my words cause i used to believe that

LTR won't work out!! hump speaking from past experiece hahaha I so sour cause i felt that firstly

the novelty has long wear off then whatmore with a lived in BF already behaving like old couple

Secondly 6 years thats soo much youth wasted on 1 guy hahah if it works out

fine thank God but what if it doesn't shrug.

Thirdly We women are always at the losing end especially when wed is like losing the bargaining

chip cause he already had you!! can skip the courting part lalala

and with kids coming along we'll always be the comprimising one =(

But of course there is sweetness in marriage is it a sacred communion of men and women,

declaring thier love officially and commitment no longer feeling lonesome at night etc etc ...

When you woke up, you pry with your still sleepy eyes to the man you love, the snuggle the

shoulder rub, the touching of ear lobes then the snores and being wrap under his arms

underneath the cosy quilt it's almost magical. It makes you feel safe and secure and loved =D

How much i adore my little one hehehe

My lil girl looks so much like a soft toy love her so much hehehe and she likes

clinging onto us like a koala bear hehehe. Now that we spend friday evening till

sunday noon at baby's house. cause now val start to gain awareness of her

surrounding when brought to a foreign a place she'll turn her head around and stare

with her fist clench tightly π.π she's super scary cat lol after a few mintues when

she sensed that it was not her usual place she'll cry at the top of her lungs

and gek her tears till she turn purplish π.π

This is a summary account of what happen these few days haa too eventful that i got no time to update!

FIRST I got my cousin to chop my hair =)27-05 THEN on 28-05 we were celebrating my mum's birthday val issn't very cooperative so therefore this is the one and only pic with her in it haa.

she really cry non stop thoughout the whole dinner -.- she don't like Swensen's lighting too dim, she's afriad of the dark lol. So we have to take turns to bring her out to the mall and gai gai ...

Val at 15days old i realized how fast she has grown her cheeks got chubbier, i love her inquisitive look when she open her eyes wide wide and stare at you. i love her black iris its so huge. She got so attracted to the TV love the sound and light transmitted by the black LCD screen.

Went for her jaundice check today, the laboratory run a more thorough check on her bilirubin needed her plasma then they draw more blood on her left feet, she cried so loudly until i think patients outside the lab could all hear her pitiful cries.

Her result still pending won't be out till Mon but her usual jaundice test shows her jaundice is still relatively high thou not as high as compared to the last time. Gotta brew more red date water for her it seems to improve her condition (=.

i wish we could all stay together cause currently baby and i ain't staying together there isn't anyone at our home to take care of val and i so we are putting up at my parents' place. i feel so helpless in the middle of the night. aww i miss him so badly thou we meet every alternate days but still i hope this period will pass fast fast (=

Valerie birth story ....

My water bag burst at 3am 22-04-09 i remembered sitting on the toilet bowl to let all the water gushed out haa cause i felt like a leaking tap and then mummy knock on the toilet door urge me to shower quickly and then rushed me to the hospital.

I was wheeled into the labour suite in the meantime baby & I watched 3x rerun of ellen degenres show played restuarant city and chat abit holding hands and kissed waited till 12pm before i felt the contraction pain thats when i decided to opt for epidural the pain is so excruciating i swear i nearly died but thank God to the greatest invention yippie! i was so estatic when i saw the anasthetist the cooling sensation shiok it was not until 3pm that i started pushing only for the last 20 mins that my gynae appeared he dug his hands and widen my vaginal and finally when we saw baby valerie's head he vacumm sucked lucky the red mark on her scalp is all gone (= feel so shag after that but its all worth it hehe then lied down on the bed till my family and friends June, penny, kai wei and her frens to come visit me and baby he also feel very shag he has been accompanying me throughout although he fear the sight of blood but he was there all the time awww i just wanted to say I love u baby i'm so glad we decided to bring baby valerie into this world and now we have set up our very own family =D

Baby came to cheer me up today (= I'm so bored to death at home thou i still have 3 more weeks of confinement =( check out his ride ;P he took me out for a spin hehe mummy give me this disapproving look but i still went out haa for just 10 short mins cause confinement cannot blow air con bla bla bla .. I'm so glad baby came it really makes my day (= Tomorrow I'm going to start on my Jamu massage can't wait hehe

I'm back at raffles hospital again shucks cause Valerie now 6 days old had suffered from severe jaundice she has a reading of 18.8 whereas norm babies below 10 then will consider on the safe side gosh you see the difference so wide!

I felt so panicky my stomach churns hubby and i both got sweaty palms upon hearing the news! Especially last night she pee and poop like a lot of times till we lost count =x hubby was very sweet he offered to change diapers, feed and burp her esp jaundice babies after photo-therapy they tend to be more hyper active and have more bowels and pee cause need to force the jaundice out of body if not will affect her brain , thou clumsy at times but his keen to be very hands on i felt so touched.

Being a mother makes me more emotional i cried at the slightest thing. I watched nurses carried blood tests on Valerie using a syringe to draw blood samples from both on her hand and her feet she didn't cry at all just let out a short shriek and goes "eh" she so brave.

Don't know why so SWAY! Just so happen that a nurse working at the nursery has contracted chicken pox we nearly freak out so that why they offered us an A ward room w/o any surcharge cause we have to be isolate from others just need to pay for Valerie admission but so shitty they said they'll have to charge for confinement meals serve i don't know how much the total bill will come out to be.

Just came back from routine check up with e gynecologist, bad news bad news.. currently baby val is into her 38th week & she's weighing slightly more than 3kg!! I'm like WTF!! I'm at 30% risk of having a cesarean i cried at the clinic i hate the idea of having cesarean, i distaste the pain and the fucking scars that will remain. If first child needs cesarean ultimately the 2nd child will follow suite, imagine having my abdomen being cut tiwce really wtf lo.. these few nights keep having false alarm having tummy cramps at 4.30am =(* and my feet and hands swelled totally cannot see my bones at all. Lets just keep my finger crossed and pray that i need not go through stupid cesarean and have a smooth delivery i hope baby val comes out faster =)

I'm all set all ready, just anticipating for the moment baby val decide to pops her head out =D
look at my bump it has droop, baby val is pushing her way downwards xD leaves me the extra urge to pee during wee hours =( baby val weight gain causes the sharp pain i experienced at the bottommost part of my tummy but all these is all worthwhile for baby val ^^. How about the date April 18 hur is on Sat why this date? i just simply love the number 18 lol

35weeks and 4days! 10 more days to 37th week baby's (full term) I'm so thrilled!, yippie *blow confetti on air" currently baby val is weighing 2.5kg and head's diameter ard 8.6cm ^^ i need to spot signs of labor baby coming on the way and I'm still clueless lol here are some of the findings 1that I've compiled =)

How Will I Know When Baby's on the Way?

Here are a few signs to look for to help you recognize that it's time to get ready for labor and delivery. While not all of these signs indicate imminent childbirth, they can help give you a good idea of when you will be going into labor.

Lightening
You will likely experience the lightening of your baby a few weeks before you actually end up giving birth. Lightening refers to the dropping of your baby into your pelvis. During lightening, the baby will rotate himself so that he is ready to come out of the birth canal in a downward-facing position. This is a sign that your baby is preparing to enter the world. Many mothers can actually feel that their baby has dropped. If you notice a space between your breasts and abdomen, this can be a sign that your baby is preparing himself for life outside the womb.

During this stage, your breathing should become less labored and you should feel a lot less pressure in your stomach. You could also find yourself visiting the bathroom more frequently, though, because your baby's new position will put even more pressure on your bladder. Additionally, some women complain of increased constipation and the appearance of hemorrhoids after lightening has occurred. You may also notice that your legs and feet swell and feel sore, making getting around a little difficult.

Bloody Show

To keep bacteria out of the womb during your baby's growth, a plug of mucus forms at the neck of the cervix, blocking the uterus. When this plug drops out of the uterus it is called show. Sometimes, the plug looks pinkish-red when it is lost, and this is termed "bloody show". Show can occur up to three weeks before actual labor, but it is a sign that your baby's birth is on its way. Some women will not lose this plug until hours before they go into labor. Keep a look out for this plug as it can give you some clues as to when your baby will arrive.

Braxton-Hicks Contractions

Women in the later stages of pregnancy will experience Braxton-Hicks contractions. These contractions help the uterus to practice for actual labor and delivery. As you near labor, these contractions can start to get more painful and intense and can't be lessened by a shift in position. Pain will initiate in your lower back and then descend into your stomach, pelvis, and legs. If contractions start to come more frequently, and at regular intervals, you may be in labor. Time your contractions. If contractions last more than 40 seconds and arrive regularly, call your doctor and go to the hospital.

Breaking of Waters
Only about 15% of pregnant women actually experience the breaking of their waters, so this may not be the best marker of the early stages of labor. However, if it does occur, you should call your doctor and go to the hospital right away, as this is a sign you are in labor.

During pregnancy, your baby grows and develops in a sac of special water called amniotic fluid. When labor begins, this fluid sac can break sending a gush or just a trickle of water out. This fluid should be clear. If it is green or brownish in color this could be a sign that your baby is in distress, so head to the hospital right away.

The Nesting Instinct
Many women experience a rush of energy or persistent restlessness as labor approaches. If you find yourself eager to clean, tidy and participate in dozens of new activities, you may be nearing the end of your pregnancy. This rush of energy is referred to as the nesting instinct. Not only is this a sign that your body is preparing itself for the arrival of your baby, it is also a signal to you to start getting ready for labor.

My Progress checklist

My tummy droop and its adding discomfort for me to just shuffle ard my house,the horrible backaches especially on the right bottom side i want massage, i want to stick tiger balm patches =x it so "suan" i felt like i almost died from exhaustion and the "suan" caused me to limp =E. --> Is this a combi of lightening + contraction?

I kept tossing on bed, lying flat will cause me to have breathing difficulties, still lying on the left is the only choice it eases the queasy feeling in my tummy a little , gosh i hope all this will pass soon can't wait for the arrival of baby val <3>

I chanced upon an article about a survey titled Can money buy happiness?
Financially richer people tend to be happier than poorer people, according to sociological researcher Glenn Firebaugh, Pennsylvania State University and graduate student Laura Tach, Harvard University.

I can truly fathom with why the poor are downright unhappy =( Just like me now unemployed and not contributing to the society and I've to ask hubby for money all the time it just upset me with baby val coming along the way more expenses will be incur. Conversations that revolve around money often ended sour =(. grrr I hope I'll get a job soon once I've completed with confinement and it'll help alleviate our situation =) can afford to buy daily necessities, toys and pretty clothes for baby val and maybe hubby and my fav indulgence- shopping =D

1st things first hope our housing grant goes through hee on 1st April the interview then we can buy our very own house ^^

It's been ages since we last met, so when we met we just sat down and rattled on and on non stop for 3 hours, it just felt so nice to have someone to share your woes and going through the same situation as you, then we could all laughed it off and cheer each other up ^^.

Especially the delivery process - only 1 word to describe excruciating pain lor. I've made up my mind to take up the massage and binding package i'm willing to dig $678 for 10 sessions, i can't take risk what if i can't get back to my pre pregnancy weight of 47kg -.- and darling doesn't share the same liking for me as before although he says he will still love me fat or thin. But pls men are visual animal they like anything that is appealing to their eyes, who doesn't like pretty things aneways i'm going to ask penny if she wants to join the buddy package so we could get free spa of massage =D

Baby Joshua is so handsome, i can't wait to see my baby valerie out and do all the mummsy activities with her =D

And June was sucha great help she offered like super great tips for taking care of kids i think she's a walking encyclopedia of infancy or something but being with her was nice she gives you a sense of assurance and warmth and security haha not sure am i using the right words here ^^

On this fateful day, i got up super early gobble down my breakfast with mum , dad and my lil bro. We headed straight down to OG orchard pt.. why? particularly this day and that particular OG? cause they are having a member preview & 5th anniversary sale 20% + 10%!! I look at the coupons and catalog and squealed excitedly, me being 33 weeks pregnant and being a kiasu Singaporean i too along join the freaking long queue. I thought i was already standing at the end of the queue when a lady abruptly tapped my shoulder and exclaimed:" Excuse me ar we are already in the queue for 2 long hrs" i shrugged my shoulder and muttered sorry then quickly look for the end of the queue it turn out to be longer than i thought la π.π poor me standing under the scorching hot sun some more let the pictures speaks for itself!! Super horrified, then they closed all the other exits what if got stampede of fire leh how the ppl get out =/ i went in then mood dampened liao just hurried to get baby playpen and airport flask spend $156 no chance to take pics of purchases also packed like sardine >.<

Dar please come to my rescue and save this poor blogskin of mine, which i had encounter with too many problems: 1st it has this monotonous repeated background music, it suppose to be some soothing melody but i found it so freaking irritating and it's getting on my nerves =/ i hunt high and low to rip the background sound off. 2nd the image for the border was amiss i have to resave it from the website itself -.-" everything look so haywire... 3)now the body of the border won't aligned -.-" hope tmr i'll be able to get it fix then it won't look so alien =D

I'm staying over at dar's place, it feels as thou we're dating still but we're doing the routine things like chips and movies and lazing on bed. we held hands throughout watching twilight, i rate it 4/5 ! It's awesome, how can you simply resist the charming good looks of Robert Pattinson- Edward Cullen, their freaky super powers and the immortality when you can live on forever and what do you live for?

Best part of all the fetal kiss by a vampire can you imagine how lucky Kristen Stewart - Bella Swan was ! awww so envious haa i like everything surreal/fictional is like an escape of the harsh reality π.π

Dar and I went Vivo city yesterday, hehe he bought a topshop polo tee for me it's super cute pink and adorn with heart shape buttons i bought myself a clutch from aldo too ^^ with peacock feathers super chio but only can put it to use after child birth =D
